On November 20, 2026, Delta Xi Epsilon will conduct a massive environmental cleanup drive at the Las Piñas–Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (LPPCHEA). This activity aims to raise awareness about marine debris and wetland conservation while actively removing trash from the protected mangrove areas.
Volunteers will assemble at the LPPCHEA visitor center at 7:00 AM. Equipment such as gloves, trash bags, and grabbers will be provided. The cleanup will be followed by an educational tour led by DENR officials, discussing the ecological importance of the wetlands and the ongoing rehabilitation efforts. Participants will also plant mangrove saplings as part of a reforestation initiative.
This activity is open to all members and their families. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Bring your own water bottle to minimize waste. A certificate of participation will be issued to all volunteers. Sign up through your chapter environmental officer by November 15. Let's work together to protect our planet!
